At Mac Does REI ("we," "us," or "our"), your privacy is our priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you interact with our website, services, blog, and mobile and web applications (the "App"). By using our site or the App, you agree to the practices described below. Mac Does REI operates as The McDonald Group, brokered by Fathom Realty, LLC in Texas and Dillard Cies Real Estate in Oklahoma. Cash and terms purchases are made separately by NTX Realty Trust as a principal buyer.

We collect information to provide you with the best possible experience, including but not limited to:

1.1 Personal Information. When you interact with us, you may provide contact details (name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and other identifiers) and client information (details about your real estate needs, preferences, and transactions).

1.2 Automatically Collected Data. When you visit our website or blog, we may collect device information (IP address, browser type, operating system), usage data (pages visited, time spent, click-throughs, and other site interaction data), and data from cookies and similar tracking technologies used to enhance site functionality and analyze user behavior.

We may also receive data from third parties, such as lead generation tools, social media platforms, or referral partners.

• Provide and improve our services, including personalized real estate solutions.
• Communicate with you via email, text, or calls about updates, promotions, and inquiries.
• Send marketing materials or blog updates you have opted into.
• Analyze website performance and user behavior to enhance your experience.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose personal information to service providers that help us operate our business, including hosting, authentication, customer relationship management, email, analytics, communications, and AI services. Our public website chat and the authenticated Ask MREI assistant use different data paths, described below. We may also disclose information to legal authorities when required by applicable law, regulation, or court order, and as part of a business transfer if we merge, reorganize, or sell all or part of the business.

We use cookies, beacons, and similar technologies to understand how visitors find and use our site. This site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to measure things like traffic sources, pages viewed, and general location by region. Google Analytics uses cookies and is configured to anonymize your IP address before it is stored. We also use a privacy-focused website analytics tool that does not use cookies or track you across other sites. We do not sell the information these tools collect. You can decline cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on, though declining cookies may limit your website experience.

When you use the App, we collect the information described above plus the following, and only after you review and accept the App's data-use notice at sign-in:

• Account information. Your email address and profile details, used to sign you in and to connect you with your agent. If you opt in to text messages, we also collect your phone number for that purpose.
• Addresses you provide. Saved places such as home, work, or school used for search and commute features, your own property address if you use the home-value feature, and the property address if you ask us about selling a home.
• In-app activity. Your searches and filters, listings you view and how long you view them, homes you save, lists you build, messages you send us, documents you open or upload, and calculator use. We use this to personalize your experience and so your agent can serve you better, for example by understanding your price range and preferred areas.
• Notes you attach to saved homes are shared with your agent by design and are labeled that way in the App.
• Documents you upload are stored privately, are accessible only to you and our team, and are never used for marketing. The separate AI-assisted mortgage preapproval document feature is not active. We will update this policy and the applicable in-app disclosure before activating AI processing of uploaded documents.
• Push notifications are optional and permission-based. If you enable them, we store a device push token to deliver them. You can turn them off at any time in the App or in your device settings.
• Text messages require your separate consent inside the App and can be stopped at any time by replying "STOP."
• Public website chat. The public website chat sends the current conversation, limited to the last 12 user and assistant messages, to our Cloudflare Worker. When a question is eligible for an AI response, the Worker sends those messages and a limited site-interest profile to Anthropic. That profile can include cities, counties, a price band, property types, apparent buying or selling intent, and pages or guides opened. It is structured not to include a name, email address, street address, exact price, or demographic fields. Some safety, source, navigation, opt-out, rate-limit, and offline responses are returned without Anthropic. If you enter an email address or phone number in website chat, the last eight chat messages and the limited interest summary may be sent to HubSpot and Deal Harbor as a lead. A corresponding lead log may be kept in Cloudflare KV for up to 30 days. Contact information typed in a model-eligible website-chat message is part of the message sent to Anthropic. Do not enter Social Security numbers, tax IDs, financial-account information, passwords, documents, or other sensitive information in public website chat.
• Ask MREI in the portal and mobile app. Ask MREI requires sign-in and a separate first-use disclosure. Your current question and up to eight recent chat messages are checked transiently inside our authenticated Supabase service to select an approved response. Deterministic supported answers do not call Anthropic. Anthropic may be called only for the reviewed Texas AI home valuation summary, the reviewed August 2026 Dallas Fort Worth market summary, the reviewed August 2026 Norman and Oklahoma City market summary, or the explicit comparison of those two market updates. For those requests, Anthropic receives a fixed server-owned topic prompt, empty chat history, and the exact reviewed public source metadata and approved answer text for that topic. Anthropic does not receive the words you typed, your chat history, identity, profile, documents, CRM data, or other private account data through Ask MREI. Unsupported, unknown, ambiguous, and mixed requests are declined before any Anthropic request. Ask MREI does not save chat as a profile, CRM record, or conversation history, does not learn from chat history, and does not use chat to train itself. Supported answers show their sources and public knowledge version. Do not enter Social Security numbers, tax IDs, account numbers, passwords, documents, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, or other private information. If Ask MREI detects sensitive information, it rejects the request and tells the current device to clear its local chat history.

We do not sell this information, and the App contains no third-party advertising or ad-tracking software. You can decline the data-use notice, in which case the App does not record your in-app activity.

Your choices and deletion. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time from the App's data-rights screen or by emailing contact@macdoesrei.com. You can also delete your account from inside the App, which removes your profile and personal information as described in our data-rights process. Texas residents have additional rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, described in the Your Rights section below.

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, and opt out of marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions or contacting us directly. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@macdoesrei.com.

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Despite these efforts, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

By providing your contact information, you agree to receive communications from us via email, phone, text messages, or other media. You may opt out of these communications by replying "STOP" to text messages or using the unsubscribe link in emails. For full details, see our Terms of Communication.

Our website may link to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with the revised effective date.
