Local, not long-distance

We work Keller from the Northeast Tarrant growth belt.

The larger lots and strong schools in Keller draw steady demand, a market where a well-positioned listing tends to pay off. Since 2019, the McDonald Group has helped buyers and sellers across DFW and North Texas, brokered by Fathom Realty, with our office in McKinney.

Every tier, including Transaction Only, comes with a licensed Texas agent's full statutory duties: we present every offer, answer your questions, and keep you informed of material information throughout the sale.

Commissions and fees are not set by law and are fully negotiable. The fees above are The McDonald Group's standard listing tiers; final terms are set in your written listing agreement. Buyer's agent compensation, if any, is separate and discussed before you list.

The ground here

What is Keller, TX like?

Corridors, build era, and taxing boundaries shape what you can buy in Keller and what it costs to hold.

Keller runs north to south along US 377 (Keller Parkway) between Fort Worth and Southlake, with no freeway inside its limits and I-35W and SH 114 both passing outside. The Old Town Keller district marks the original rail-era settlement, while most housing was built from the 1990s onward on larger lots than the mid-cities to the south. Bear Creek Park, the Keller Pointe recreation center and the trail network follow the creek corridors through town. Keller ISD is named for the city but extends well past it into North Richland Hills, Watauga and parts of Fort Worth.

What are property taxes in Keller, TX?

Keller sits in Tarrant County, where the combined property tax rate runs about 2.06 percent of market value for the 2025 tax year, ranging 1.85 to 2.40 percent depending on the school district. On a $350,000 home with a homestead exemption that works out to roughly $480 a month. The Texas homestead exemption reduces only the school district portion, not the county or city portion, which is the detail most online estimates miss.

Taxes and insurance are a large share of a monthly payment in Texas, so a national mortgage estimate will understate what a Keller home actually costs to hold.
