Licensed local Realtors serving Bridgeport, honest pricing guidance, professional marketing, and listing options that fit how much help you actually want.
Bridgeport sits by its namesake lake with a mix of weekend lots and small-town homes, properties we price on their own setting rather than a formula. Since 2019, the McDonald Group has helped buyers and sellers across DFW and North Texas, brokered by Fathom Realty, with our office in McKinney.
Already have your buyer, or just need a licensed pro to carry the deal from contract to close? This is the lean option.
Full MLS exposure managed remotely. You take the photos and handle access, we run everything else.
The works. We make the home look its best, market it everywhere, and stay hands-on through closing.
Every tier, including Transaction Only, comes with a licensed Texas agent's full statutory duties: we present every offer, answer your questions, and keep you informed of material information throughout the sale.
Commissions and fees are not set by law and are fully negotiable. The fees above are The McDonald Group's standard listing tiers; final terms are set in your written listing agreement. Buyer's agent compensation, if any, is separate and discussed before you list.
First home, upgrade, or investment, we guide Bridgeport buyers through search, offer strategy, financing connections, and closing. Browse North Texas listings or reach out below and tell us what you're looking for.

Corridors, build era, and taxing boundaries shape what you can buy in Bridgeport and what it costs to hold.
Bridgeport sits on US 380 west of Decatur in Wise County, named for the toll bridge built across the West Fork of the Trinity in the 1860s. Bituminous coal mined here from the 1880s until 1929 shaped the town, and the shale hauled out with it fed a brick industry that followed. Lake Bridgeport, completed in 1931 north of town, added a separate class of lake and acreage property distinct from the older grid around the historic commercial district. Bridgeport ISD is the taxing district.
Bridgeport sits in Wise County, where the combined property tax rate runs about 1.40 percent of market value for the 2025 tax year, ranging 1.22 to 1.67 percent depending on the school district. On a $350,000 home with a homestead exemption that works out to roughly $314 a month. The Texas homestead exemption reduces only the school district portion, not the county or city portion, which is the detail most online estimates miss.
Taxes and insurance are a large share of a monthly payment in Texas, so a national mortgage estimate will understate what a Bridgeport home actually costs to hold.
