Every tier, including Transaction Only, comes with a licensed Texas agent's full statutory duties: we present every offer, answer your questions, and keep you informed of material information throughout the sale.

Commissions and fees are not set by law and are fully negotiable. The fees above are The McDonald Group's standard listing tiers; final terms are set in your written listing agreement. Buyer's agent compensation, if any, is separate and discussed before you list.

The ground here

What is Cleburne, TX like?

Corridors, build era, and taxing boundaries shape what you can buy in Cleburne and what it costs to hold.

Cleburne is the Johnson County seat, sitting at US 67 and SH 174 southwest of Fort Worth. The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe opened repair shops here in the late 1890s that ran until 1989, and the older neighborhoods and the downtown square were built out around that rail economy. The Chisholm Trail Parkway now ends at US 67 in Cleburne, giving a toll route into downtown Fort Worth, and Lake Pat Cleburne and Cleburne State Park sit west of town. Cleburne ISD serves the city.

What are property taxes in Cleburne, TX?

Cleburne sits in Johnson County, where the combined property tax rate runs about 1.80 percent of market value for the 2025 tax year, ranging 1.65 to 2.10 percent depending on the school district. On a $350,000 home with a homestead exemption that works out to roughly $398 a month. The Texas homestead exemption reduces only the school district portion, not the county or city portion, which is the detail most online estimates miss.

Taxes and insurance are a large share of a monthly payment in Texas, so a national mortgage estimate will understate what a Cleburne home actually costs to hold.
